We deliver our flooring across Ireland using quality local couriers, heavy-goods hauliers (outside of Dublin) and our vans for orders local to our store.
Orders in Dublin will be delivered by courier and you will be contacted 1-3 hours before delivery. Orders will be dropped into your ground-level hall in a house, or ground-level foyer in an apartment.
For orders outside Dublin, we use specialist heavy-goods hauliers who will deliver your floor on a pallet by kerbside delivery. Your order will be brought as close to your entrance as possible. Unfortunately, hauliers are not allowed to unpack your order and bring it inside for you. Therefore, please ensure that you are available to receive your delivery and bring it inside.
Access for Large Vehicles
Please ensure that your address has clear access for delivery vehicles before ordering. Narrow lanes and low bridges can cause problems for bulky-goods delivery vehicles. If you are not sure, please call our office and we can advise you.
Checking Your Order
It is important to check your order is complete, correct and undamaged before accepting your delivery. If you locate any damage or missing/incorrect items, please accept the delivery and mark this on the delivery docket detailing what is damaged or incorrect. We can then replace these items quickly. Regrettably, we are only able to replace any damaged items that have been signed for as damaged.
Once you have signed for delivery, it then becomes your property. We can accept no further responsibility for items once they have been delivered to the customer's address and signed for. For this reason, you must be available to receive, check your delivery and then store it safely upon receipt.
Why Don't We Offer Free Delivery On Our Wood Flooring
Delivery is free on our samples, however, to ensure our online and in-store prices remain competitive and free of any hidden charges, we charge for delivery only when required. This ensures that our customers who collect in-store are not paying higher prices than necessary, to fund a "free" delivery service for online orders.
While we do make every effort to ensure our deliveries arrive on their estimated date, due to circumstances that can be beyond our control, we cannot always guarantee that your order will arrive on the arranged day.
We recommend not to arrange installers until your goods have been delivered and checked. In the rare event that a delivery does not arrive on the arranged day, we will arrange a suitable alternative day for you.
We are sure that you will be very satisfied with your floor, but if for any reason it does not meet your expectations we can, of course, accept no fuss returns on any orders.
We also allow 1 opened box to be returned from each order allowing you a good opportunity to inspect your order before deciding.
To be eligible to return a floor, you must notify us by email within 14 days of receiving the floor that you would like to return. The delivery must arrive with us no later than 30 days after it was delivered to you. We will not be liable for the cost of carriage for the returned goods.
Note: Apart from the allowed 1 opened boxed box of flooring, we can only take back goods in their original packaging, in a perfect resaleable condition.
Returns can be made by appointment to our store at the following address;
Mulveys of Dundrum
Dundrum Village Centre,
Main Street Dundrum,
If the floor is bought in-store, the customer will get an opportunity to see a sample of the floor before purchasing.
We are sure that you will be very satisfied with your floor, but if for any reason it does not meet your expectations, do not install it, please contact Mulveys.
In the case of laminate flooring, returns are at our discretion.
In the case of real-wood flooring, provided the floor is within the allowable grade, returns are at our discretion.
