This engineered white oak is 190mm wide and is finished in a UV matt lacquer. The boards are 20mm thick, T&G and bevelled. The Super Rustic grade means that it can have a wide colour variation. It can also have knots and cracks which are unrestricted in size. Small unfilled cracks can also be present.
This floor has a brushed surface which gives the floor an added texture and a more natural appearance. This oak has been smoked to give it a dark brown colour and is perfect for adding warmth to the home.
Engineered flooring is the perfect combination of practicality and authenticity. Constructed in layers, generally made from birch plywood, engineered flooring has a top layer veneer made from solid wood.
It's these layers underneath which provide engineered flooring with a greater structural stability than solid wood floors. This means that it's not as prone to shrinking or warping with changes in environmental conditions.
